Active optical clock lasing on the Cs 7S1/2-6P3/2 transition under a weak magnetic field

In the bad-cavity limit, collective atomic dipole is highly coherent, resulting in phase information of an active optical clock (AOC) laser primarily stored gain medium. Therefore, compared with good-cavity laser, sensitivity AOC to cavity fluctuations greatly reduced, as characterized by suppressed cavity-pulling effect. this work, lasing on cesium 7S 1/2 -6P 3/2 transition a natural linewidth 1.81 MHz under weak magnetic field achieved. We calculate Zeeman spectra upper and lower states transition, measure beat-note spectrum between different Zeeman-sublevel transitions . Moreover, cavity-pulling, temperature, power, characteristics are demonstrated field. Such emerging can be applied narrow-linewidth local oscillator, well frequency standard, which promising for precision measurement.
